Welcome to the Regional Studies Association Research Network on Creative Regions in Europe: challenges and opportunities .
Based on the successful work undertaken for the first seminar series focusing on Creative Regions in UK, the research network aims to develop further issues and research questions which have emerged from the discussions and presentations therein. The website includes the activities and outcomes of the previous network (under Archive) and will offer new opportunities for interaction and knowledge exchange.

The Research Network on Creative Regions in Europe is promoted and organised by Dr Roberta Comunian from the School of Arts, University of Kent , Dr Caroline Chapain from the Centre for Urban and Regional Studies of the University of Birmingham and Nick Clifton from the Cardiff School of Management of the University of Wales Institute, Cardiff.

Topics for this Research Network have emerged for research that the three organisers have been doing in the field in UK and internationally. The network and its seminar activities are supported by the Regional Studies Association.
